Gemstones and Mineral Resources of Tanzania- Lecture Organized by the NGJA
The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) organized a lecture on the 25th November 2009.
The topic of the lecture was Gemstone and Mineral Resources of Tanzania.

The lecture was delivered by Dr Gamini Zoysa a Geologist and Consultant Gemologist. He is also the present International Colored Stone Association (ICA) Ambassador for Sri Lanka.He is also the Managing Director of the Mincraft Company.
Dr Gamini Zoysa a renowned exert in the feild has the following qualifications: Geology (Moscow), Post Graduate Degree in Mineral Exploration (Delft.The Netherlands) & Diploma in Gemmology. (G.A.G.B., London). He was also a Senior Research Officer of the State Gem Corporation Colombo from 1978 to 1989
Dr Gamini Zoysa is presently member of the Foreign Publicity Committee- Promotions and Trade Fairs,Facets Committee and Luster 2010 Committee of the Sri Lanka Gem and Jewellery Association.
Dr Gamini Zoysa was also the former President of the Gemologists Association of Sri Lanka.
