Appointment of Advisors to the Honarable Minister of Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion
Chairman, Japan’s Ryokusei Company , Kensho Okamoto has been appointed advisor to Hon Dr Sarath Amunugama , Minister of Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion with effect from 1st August 2008, to study ways and means of developing Sri Lanka’s Gem and Jewellery Industry, with special emphasis on the international gem and jewellery market.

On 8th September 2008 , Chairperson , Lordspek International (Pvt Ltd) ,Cathy Mao , Beijing ,China , was also appointed advisor to the Minister of Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion , to explore ways of developing Sri Lanka’s Gem and Jewellery Sector on a global scale.
The National Gem and Jewellery Authority (NGJA) is looking forward to working closely with both Mr Okomoto and Ms Cathy Mao.
